Great post Lorraine. And yes, I know it was published back in October last year. It just goes to show how much life there really is in it!!!

Your post has also confirmed a decision to commit to a specific area in an organisation that I've been involved with for several years. My passion and with it overall committment had begun to wane despite the fact that I believed in the organisation's wider purpose. Even as I type I can feel excitement stirring at the thought of throwing myself into the area I know that I have passion and a heart for.

Hope you are enjoying 2011.

WOW MARY! What an 18 months!!! I love your strategy for conscious transition allowing, shifting and settling into a new direction rather than planning and organising one! It sounds much more organic and natural to me and how very sensible to take yourself into a different culture to open yourself up to change. I found NZ to be a very spiritual place and I am sure you will connect with the Maori Magic as your own soul expands into the new. I hope our paths connect in 2011 somewhere. Big love, L x

Thanks for this Lorraine - as ever thoughtful, thought provoking and full of passion, warmth and love.

Your list of questions will be very useful to me. In the last eighteen months my husband has moved out and I have lost six and a half stone. My divorce will be final in January. My mother is now settled in her care home and I have recently sold her house. I feel freer than I have done for decades.

I am off to New Zealand at the end of January with an open ticket – I will probably stay for a couple of months. This is a holiday, but it is much more than that. I am going to use the time to make a very conscious transition from the past to my future. I am busting a gut to get involved in something new, but I am very deliberately going away with no plans so that things can shift and settle in their own time.

You questions will greatly aid that process. Thank you.

Lots of love, Mary
